WHAT IS DEATH LIKE?

Death is body abandonment, nothing more.

The genetic vessel or unit ceases to operate on its own low power, due to age, accident or disease, and it shuts itself off.

Where does that leave you?

We are all creatures of habit, so the fact that you don’t have a body to climb back into is a source of frustration and grief.  But look at the good news….  You are free from everything that killed the body.

It’s where length, width, height and depth often move independently from one another or through one another via an artificial unit of measurement called time.  Consequently, shapes are very different from a newcomer’s expectations.  Sound and color are often fused together.  You, the soul, are forced to synthesize and organize all of your incoming perceptions in such a way that creates meaning, logic and order to all that you do, or else you will instantaneously become the effect of it rather than the cause.  It is incredible how quickly we adapt and how much power we have on reserve to adjust with.  The speed with which we go from effect to cause is directly proportional to our level of enlightenment, which is nothing more than a quantification of how many secrets we have that we don’t want anyone else to know about.

In the universe of death, there are no secrets.  Every bad thing you have ever done in your most recent lifetime and every other lifetime is known.  Every wonderful thing is also known.  Your mind is naked before everyone.  And what is the mind or the soul anyway?  It is nothing more than a collection of images; a scrapbook of pictures containing an infinity of experiences.  Every secret you ever kept is now exposed.  How you deal with that is how you survive death.

How are the worlds of life and death identical?  They are both dimensions of sustained wonder, where we constantly search to regain knowledge and wisdom we have long since forgotten.

After dropping one’s body, a soul is engulfed by the euphoria of being unencumbered by the physical universe while at the same time being completely able to travel anywhere within it.

However, one’s orientation point is always a critical issue for a spirit not yet reacquainted with the ease of traveling through the physical universe as he navigates through physicality.  It is for this reason that the spot where a physical body is buried is a source of stability for the recently departed.  Compare this idea to a GPS device that shows you a map of your location.   The place of burial is a specific spot in the physical universe which the soul often returns to in order to locate the point where he left his “possession”, his body, to be stored permanently.  It also serves as a “connect-the-dots” map over time and space to show the progression of past lives within the life-by-life history of journeying through one’s own personal time stream.

On the other hand, is “connecting the dots” really necessary?

If you catapult a little higher onto the precipice of wisdom, it is abundantly clear that in a spiritual state, you see everything and know everything, and you never need a reference point.  There is no need to “connect the dots” when you have already solved the puzzle.

So why do we obsess over a dead body buried in the ground?

It is a crutch on the great learning curve of spiritual navigation which we have to rediscover every time we die; unless we had a way to know all there is to know while we are still alive, which of course we do.

On this planet and on many others like it, people confuse time all the time!  When prisoners are sentenced, they say that they are “doing hard time.”  But what they are really doing is “hard space”, because the only difference is that they are being confined against their own will in smaller spaces than the rest of us.  But as far as time is concerned, they are serving the same sentence as the rest of the human race is enduring within the physical universe for each of their lifetimes.

The idea that “the afterlife” is a solemn, somber place is totally absurd.  It is really a fun place to visit because everyone is in “creative mode”, making images and pictures for all to see and enjoy.  People laugh more because they’re never in any pain.  The most concern they ever show is for those unfortunate ones who are “stuck here” in the physical universe, because sadly human beings are burdened with the challenges of being trapped in a body.

Consequently, it is very therapeutic to live fully and as long as you can, while being aware of the existence of “that better place”; the one you have come from before birth and the one you will return to after your body has outlived its usefulness or has perished due to an accident or sabotage or illness.

Most religious groups are forever misdirecting humans in this area.  They tie up your time with overwhelming rules and rituals, never allowing you to create your own unique pathway through the physical universe.  The formula they mistakenly follow through their devotion to religious duty and obligation in the name of “faith” is to retreat from the physical universe toward pre-conceived fixed ideas of what lies beyond it, becoming so terrified of non-existent “places” like “hell” and “purgatory” that they never live up to their full potential nor enjoy the beauty of their own spiritual survival.

“Fire and brimstone” preachers common to Baptist, Pentecostal and Church of Christ denominations of Christianity use fear to ensure conformity.  There is a cute little acronym for “FEAR”, where the letters stand for “False Evidence Appearing Real”.  The acid test is always the same; and it involves the extent to which revivalist preachers want something from you; and generally it is either money, or more money, or blind obedience which leads to even more money.  It is a sad thing when religious leaders have to resort to frightening their congregations in order to extort financial compensation from them.  We have more pressing issues to be concerned about without focusing on unrealities such as “Satan”, “Mephistopheles”, “Beelzebub” or any of the other creative names for a phantom of doom to be found in religious fiction.

Organized church groups are no substitute for the relationships and bonding amongst family members, especially between parents and children, siblings and lifelong friends.  A member of a church will rarely ever give up his life for you, but a member of your family, a close friend or a comrade in battle often will.  As people get older and they begin to sense the proximity of death, they often turn to their churches or synagogues or mosques for answers about the afterlife, where they are offered no technology to pull them through the trauma of death, but instead are given loads of sacraments and observances to repetitively follow as their “privileged ticket” to ensuring safe passage and admittance into an illusion called heaven; a mythical place where saints and angels fly around and where no sex is ever allowed.  Of course substantial donations to provide financial comfort to religious groups are never discouraged or turned away.  But what does contributing to a religious cause have to do with the afterlife?  There are no “saints” or “angels” in the spiritual universe.  We are all equals because we have always been a part of God’s essence.  What makes us different from other spiritual beings living in other galaxies and solar systems is nothing more complicated than the way we communicate.  We either collaborate through words or through thought.  And that essential difference has been the ultimate source of our ruination.

The never-ending act of being forced to follow repetitive religious rituals is a tedious, time-consuming drain on your self-esteem and free will.  A creature of habit is still a creature.  Never allow anyone to exercise dominion over your activities, your assets or your freedom.  Making the physical universe a better place through enlightenment, understanding and pure wisdom is your purpose while you are here, not participating in robotic behavior that conforms to the self-serving needs of churches, temples and mosques, which all rape you of your spiritual identity.  None of them know the essence of God, so how could they possibly help you understand it?

No matter how many times you genuflect, chant and pray facing Jerusalem, Rome, Mecca or Salt Lake City, you will never “save your soul” or achieve “salvation.”   How can you “save” your soul when you “are” the soul operating the body?  There is nothing to “save” because “you are it”!  Furthermore, you have separated from God, but with a permanent lease on eternity and immortality that lasts forever.

There is nothing to “save” because you are never at risk of losing anything.  Rather than going through life worrying about saving what you eternally are anyway, it is far more important to make the physical universe a saner place by drawing enlightenment into it.  We accomplish this by creating good effects.  But how many people on Earth do you know who contribute each day to accomplishing that?  I can count them on an ant’s big toe.

Upon death you are pulled in a magnetic beam of light to other beings who have loved you and interacted with you.  You will instantly remember spouses of hundreds of billions of lifetimes, not only your most recent encounter with life.  Because time is not a factor, you will remember each experience with the same vividness as your last one.  However, beings from your most recent life will provide you with the most attention during the transition, to enable you to cope with body abandonment stress.  You will appear to each spirit as they remembered you in life.  There are no mirrors in the afterlife.  Your image will be different to everyone who recognizes you, just as you will see them for who they were to you when you knew them.  You will also appear the way that gives you the most happiness.  A 90 year old man will look 20 again, if he so wishes.  And as we have all lived countless lives as both men and women, we appear as we were in each lifetime to those who knew us in that specific role.  I know it is a lot to process; but I promise you that as you read these words, you will find yourself becoming increasing more aware and intelligent as you reconnect and remember more.

Why did you forget in the first place?

Each time you pick up a new body, you spend nine months in the womb.  The new body is a tiny organism.  There are noises.  There is extreme darkness.  Motion sickness in your mother’s stomach feels like the most terrifying Tsunami.  Then there is the isolation and loneliness, which is the real killer of memory.  I can assure you that after one day of it, you have forgotten everything.  After nine months, you come out a blank slate.  That is how we planned it.  We built the rebirthing system in order to overwhelm each and every one of us into forgetting everything.  Some civilizations on distant planets have overcome these mechanisms and hurdles.  Just because people living on Earth haven’t done so does not mean you are not entitled to receive the information from those of us who have.

Life and death is a cycle.  Knowing one part of it does not prepare you for the other.  You will want to understand both.
